Summary

  • graphics/tasks/trend.md §6: table of which trend settings work in the HTML display (web client) as on the desktop, which are ignored, and which behave differently (timeShift gives Illegal start/end time specification; hairline on hover with the nearest pen only; only one value axis, other pens plotted as % against it; gaps drop to 0).
  • Confirmed that one hidden real pen (49 visible) breaks the 50-pen workaround.
  • Progress row added.

Test plan

  • 4 batches (pens; chart; time range and performance; render mode, start-up state, legend, hidden pen) deployed as a padded scratch copy of CIENG_TrendLab and checked in the browser pane (2026-10-02)
  • Scratch display removed from DEPLOY afterwards
