Summary

  • New task graphics/tasks/trend.md: every trend setting tested one by one on CIENG_TrendLab (pen source with history group / aggregation period / attribute, pen type codes, scale range, axis, grid, limits, time range, performance, appearance, time axis, legend, pen panel columns, property sheet) with the desktop result, plus the HTML display section.
  • ISS-041 cause found: the R1.03 web trend always builds 50 data columns but labels only visible pens with an item, so a trend with fewer than 50 such pens draws nothing. Workaround script add_trend_spares.ps1 pads trends to 50 pens (spares scaled out of view, blank unique legend texts).
  • Sample: CIENG_TrendLab (2 real pens + 48 spares + Micro Trend) in deploy_displays.cmd / remove_displays.cmd; trend_feed.ps1 writes test values to the internal tank items.
  • New issues ISS-055 (Micro Trend draws once, then blank) and ISS-056 (manual vs installed: web legend ignores Show in legend, pen limits/title and background paint without effect). Progress and C50/R30 summaries updated.

Test plan

  • Each trend setting changed in the XML, deployed and confirmed by the user with Operator Interface screenshots (2026-10-02)
  • 50-pen test display and padded CIENG_TrendLab draw in the browser (no Mismatch error, clean legend)
  • add_trend_spares.ps1 run twice on the same file (idempotent); jwuiutl -v: CIENG_Tank, CIENG_Menu, CIENG_TrendLab no problems
  • User check of the final CIENG_TrendLab on desktop and web
