# Version differences: R1.03 → R1.05
What changed between CI Server **R1.03.00** (what this repo was first written for; frozen on
branch `r1.03`, tag `r1.03-final`) and **R1.05.00** (current target of `main`).
Each skill and manual summary is moved to R1.05 one at a time; this file is where to look for
the changes in the meantime.
Sources: the revision tables at the end of each R1.05 manual (editions dated Feb. 2026; R1.04
editions Jan. 2025) and a read-only comparison of the installed files on the R1.03
development machine and the R1.05 test server (2026-10-08). Status: **from docs** plus
**verified** file lists; behaviour is not yet re-tested.
## 1. Installation and files (verified, 2026-10-08)
| | R1.03 (development machine) | R1.05 (test server) |
|---|---|---|
| Version string | `CI Server R1.03.00 (r10200M)` | `CI Server R1.05.00 (r11609M)` |
| Program root (`TLS_ROOT_PATH`) | `C:\Program Files (x86)\Yokogawa\CIServer` | `C:\Yokogawa\CIServer` |
| Data root (`TLS_ALLUSERS_PATH`) | `C:\Users\Public\Yokogawa\tls` | `C:\Yokogawa\CIServer\tls` (same folder as the program) |
| Manuals | `C:\Users\Public\Yokogawa\tls\doc\EN` | `C:\Yokogawa\CIServer\tls\doc\EN` |
| `tls_versions.lst` | all lines `R1.03.00` | 112 lines `R1.05.00`, `jython-full` `R1.04.00` |
The install paths may be a choice made at install time, not a product change. Always read the
`TLS_*` environment variables (`set TLS`) rather than assuming a path. Skills still show the R1.03 paths
until they are re-checked.

## 2. Manuals (from docs)
All 39 manuals were reissued (Feb. 2026). One manual is new. Most of them only added contact

these manuals still need a quick re-test on R1.05 (installed files may differ), but their
content is expected to hold.
## 3. Re-check plan
Order (biggest change first), tracked in `progress.md` under *R1.05 re-check*:
1. `system-check` (paths, version string): done in the baseline.
2. `installation-security`, `data-access`, `equipment`: real manual changes.
3. New pyTOOLS manual (P40) and the REST API.
4. `graphics`, `history-management`, `portal-setup`, `system-management`.
5. All other skills: re-test the task files on R1.05, no manual change expected.
The R1.05 test server is **shared with other projects**. Re-checks there are read-only unless
the user approves a change; see "Test system" in `progress.md`.
