# Tools

Helper scripts Claude can run. Scripts that read the manuals must not hard-code their
location; take it from an argument or environment variable, with
`C:\Users\Public\Yokogawa\tls\doc\EN\` as the default.

| Script | Purpose |

| `ModbusSim.java` | Modbus TCP test server (holding registers, read and write, scenarios through `mode.txt`) for testing a Modbus station without the device; runs with CI Server's JDK (`java ModbusSim.java [port] [registers] [folder]`). Verified on R1.05 2026-10-12 |
| `setup_check.ps1` | Read-only check of a machine against the CI Server R1.03 setup and security requirements (skill `installation-security`) |
