Summary

Write tests on the shared R1.05 test server, run with the user's approval (2026-10-09). Temporary CI-Eng-Sample records were loaded (0 errors), tested and removed (0 errors); a before/after snapshot of all touched datasets, the tls\com, sup, sav, lst and pki folders and the process list was identical after the test's temporary files were deleted.

  • V9 item-engineering: blocking (blk, silent ignore without -o, -o writes and leaves ublk), string item length 100 holds 99 characters with status 12. ISS-129 closed.
  • V10 alarm-management: raise, acknowledge via ALARM_CURRENT (two ACKNOW records), return to normal, DELAY 5 / REPEAT 10, INFO event — same as R1.03. Tip added: an ALARM_CHRONO export with @FIELDS needs NAME.
  • V12 reporting: generate with dssqld (stored, not printed, ISS-045), print to the file destination, item trigger by RPTMAN, rptstp on an endless report, SPOOL to CSV — same as R1.03.
  • V15 class-object-engineering: compile → RESET_REQUIRED 1 with old code until reset, dssqld reset still has no effect (ISS-028), opcdbg reset works, attribute change works. ISS-158 closed.
  • Test package saved in examples/CI-Eng-Sample/shared/write_test + test_r105_writes.ps1; snapshot.ps1 now removes the dss_*.tmp files its own exports leave.

Not removable after such a test: the alarm history events, audit-trail records and umhlog.log lines it produced.

With the user's approval: item blocking and string length, alarm raise /
acknowledge / delay / repeat and INFO event, report generate / print /
item trigger / rptstp / SPOOL, class change and reset and attribute
change. All results match R1.03 (ISS-028 still holds). Everything was
removed again; before/after snapshot identical. ISS-129 and ISS-158
closed. Test package saved in examples/CI-Eng-Sample/shared/write_test;
snapshot.ps1 now removes the dss_*.tmp files its own exports leave.
